There's value in the work you've already done.
Every day, your team makes decisions, solves problems and moves work forward. Over time, that creates something valuable: a record of how your business actually operates.
An initial conversation requires no records, passwords or commitment.
AI is learning to do more than answer questions.
Imagine a customer request that turns into a scheduled job, an updated record and a paid invoice. Your team knows how those steps connect. Most software only sees its own part.
AI developers are looking for that bigger picture. Eligible businesses may be able to license a copy of their historical operating records to help train these systems.
That's where we come in. Data Tradehouse helps you explore the opportunity and connects you with Mode, the buyer that evaluates the records, explains the terms and handles the licensing process.
A new opportunity, without changing how you work.
Potential licensing revenue
Mode may make a fixed written offer based on the records your business holds. Nothing is guaranteed.
Your business keeps running
If you proceed, your team exports an agreed copy. Your original records and systems stay in place.
Know the terms first
You can review the offer and licensing conditions with your own advisers before deciding.
Built for businesses with a history worth examining.
The strongest fit usually has several years of accessible records across email, files, chat, customer systems and finance.
In addition to the headcounts shown, Mode generally looks for at least three years of records, five connected business systems and appropriate rights to the information. Initial geographic eligibility includes the U.S., Canada, U.K. and Australia. Final qualification is Mode's decision.
These are screening guidelines from Mode's affiliate materials, not an offer or approval. Some industries and types of records are excluded.
It starts with a conversation. Nothing more.
Tell us about your business
A few high-level details about your team, systems and years of records. No confidential files or account access.
Speak with the buyer
If there's a potential fit, we make the introduction. Mode leads a 30-minute discussion and explains the process.
Review your options
Mode may make a written licensing offer after assessment. You choose whether the terms work for your business.
A few questions worth asking.
Will I lose access to my data?
No. Mode describes a licensing process involving a copy of agreed records; your originals remain in place. The agreement may restrict licensing the same data for AI training for a period, so read it carefully with counsel.
Do I need to share files to get started?
No. The introductory conversation covers your team, systems and operating history. Don't send Data Tradehouse raw records, passwords or confidential documents.
What about private or sensitive information?
Mode describes security review, filtering and transformation of sensitive information. Your business and advisers should review what can lawfully be licensed and the safeguards in the agreement. No process is risk-free.
How does Data Tradehouse get paid?
We are an independent referral partner, not Mode itself. Mode may compensate us for a qualifying completed referral, separately from any amount offered to your business.
